Frequently Asked Questions 

Why is there a credit card surcharge?

Companies charge us a fee when you use your credit card. We are now having to pass this fee on to the customer but if you use your debit/switch card there is no fee as we get charged less for any transactions on Switch.

Why do I need to pre-book?

Many of our prices represent substantial savings versus just turning up and our price guarantee for parking ensures that you cannot buy cheaper. Plus, you can guarantee your parking space, airports are busy.

Can I book at short notice?

Yes you can book for today if need be. We can confirm your booking by email in minutes for you to print off and hand in on arrival. If you do not have email, or if you do not have access to a printer, simply make a note of your booking reference and state this on your arrival.

Where can I find directions on the web site?

Full directions are given in the car park's details in the app, and we will also email them to you after you have booked.

How do I obtain a credit or debit card receipt?

Email us at communications@parking-bcp.co.uk or call 0871 360 1013 quoting BND1 with your booking reference and we will send you one.

How do I cancel or amend a booking?

If you would like to amend or cancel your booking, please click here. If you want to pursue a complaint please write to Customer Relations, BCP, Newingreen, Hythe, Kent, CT21 4JF or email us at customer@parking-bcp.co.uk. All cancellations and amendments must be made through BCP and are subject to the terms and conditions for each product.

Why is a week calculated as 8 days and two weeks calculated as 15 days?

Charges are made from midnight on a 24 hour basis and the daily charge made by the car park is per whole or part day, regardless of arrival time.

Is there an extra discount for booking more than one car at a time?

No. Our prices are per vehicle and are already at a discounted rate.

What does Gate price mean?

This is the daily rate charged by the car park. This can fluctuate and is subject to change.

I only require 4 days parking by the price quotes a minimum of 8. What does this mean?

There is a minimum amount payable for parking. 4 days can be booked and used, but there is a minimum charge payable for 8 days.

I have a transit van/people carrier. Are there any size restrictions for cars?

What if I experience a problem making a booking?

Call the BCP team on 0800 316 0169 and they’ll be able to make the booking for you.

What if I don’t get a booking confirmation email?

Please check your spam folder and that you have entered your email address details correctly into the app’s booking section. Call us on 0871 360 1013 and we’ll send you another confirmation email of you booking.

The app won’t load or freezes on a page.

This may occur if the app hasn’t been downloaded properly. First check in the app page on your phone and then in the iTunes folder on your computer that the app has loaded correctly. If in any doubt simply uninstall and reinstall the app. If the problem persists please email us your details (iPhone model, OS) and a description of the problem and we will respond to you within 24 hours. If you have an immediate concern about a booking then please call us on 0871 360 1013.

Can't see list of the car parks on the search screen.

This probably means that you phone is having trouble getting a strong enough 3G signal to access database. Unfortunately you will have to either switch to wireless (if available) or wait until you receive a stronger signal.
